Econo-Drop Feeders

Engineered for reliable performance at an affordable price, AP’s Econo-Drop feed dispenser provides accurate control of feed delivery to gestation or lactating sows. Features include a simple front mounted adjustment, individual slide shut-off and translucent body for visual confirmation of feed levels.

  • A simple weighted ball valve secuely closes the feeder, and provides agitation as it is raised through the feed to insure feed flow when emptying.

  • Econo-Drop feeders can be operated manually using either a lever or winch, or can be fully automated to provide unattended feedings.

Ultra-Drop Feeders

The Ultra-Drop was designed with producer input to meet the requirements of automated feeding of both gestating and lactating sows. This feeder features convenient one-handed adjustment and a balanced design to insure the feeder hangs straight.

Accu-Drop Feeders

The difference is ‘clear’. Accu-Drop feeders are designed to fill the highly precise requirements of today’s diverse production systems. Heavy duty construction provides years of durable and reliable performance.

Farrowing Drop

Save time, feed and money with AP’s Farrowing Drop Feeder. Feed farrowing sows individually according to condition, and eliminate the hassle of labor intensive feed carts and scoops resulting in reduced cost of labor associated with hand feeding lactating sows.

A swing gate at the bottom of each feeder is manually operated to quickly and accurately measure 1 to 12 lbs. of feed, eliminating costly overfeeding. An adjustable band around the feeder is used to provide a record of the previous feeding. It is available in 8-1/2 or 12 lb. capacities with model 220 or 300 drop kits.

  • Heavy wall, clear PVC tube and stainless steel valve.
  • Flexible sock allows movement in any direction.
  • Capacity markings on the clear feed tube provide an easy indicator of the amount of feed being dropped.
  • Adjustable sliding band can be moved on the tube to record the amount of feed previously dropped.
  • Flexible coupler aids in the alignment with the feeder and permit clear access to the head gate.
  • * Spring loaded stainless steel discharge cup snaps securely into the closed position with the built-in stop and torsion return spring.
  • Each feeder is equipped with an individual slide shut-off.
